"Summer" is a really cute sewing pattern for a sun top and shorts set for your 16cm (Renewal) Lati Yellow girl.

The top is made in one piece with curved straps that cross in the back and snap onto the front. The ends of the straps could easily be embellished with buttons, beads, or tiny bows. The shorts have an elastic waist and a cute little vent detail on the sides that could also be accented with an embellishment. A lot of other variations are possible with this pattern including the use of gathered laces and trims, ribbons, appliques, or embroidery.

"Summer" is an easy pattern to sew. The pieces for the Lati Yellow are very tiny, but I think anyone determined to try could sew this pattern. Experienced dolly seamstresses should find this quick and easy to whip up. Along with the cover page and one page of pattern pieces, the pattern includes 8 pages of detailed instructions with step-by-step photos.

This sewing pattern is sized for the 16cm (Renewal) Lati Yellow body. It may fit other dolls of similar size. It is NOT recommended for the 20cm Lati Yellow Sp.

(I really like keeping my patterns in plastic sleeves in looseleaf binders. The clear pockets hold all the little cut pieces nicely and they are easy to locate and store.) This pattern has 10 pages. A duplicate of the pattern page, printed on cardstock, will also be included. Cardstock pattern pieces allow easy tracing of fresh pattern pieces once your paper ones wear out.
