The Diamonds line started with Black Diamonds, a popular Blythe party dress.  Diamond pattern smocking is hand-worked in black on bright, jewel-toned cottons. Intersections in the design are embellished with black glass beads that give the dress sparkle and make it look like a jeweled net is stretched across the bodice.  The dress also features a contrasting peter pan collar, puffed sleeves with contrast cuffs, lined bodice, back Velcro closure, and a very full skirt. The skirt is hemmed with a machine-embroidered, black, scalloped design.  The combination of black with bright color gives this dress a look that is both graphically bold and pretty at once.  The dress has been made in Turquoise, Hot Pink, Emerald, Purple, and Blue.

The variation called Pink Diamonds has all the same features of the Black Diamonds dresses, yet the combination of pink beaded smocking, along with pink collar, cuffs, and hemline embroidery on a white dress create a much sweeter look.
